My name is Hai Nguyen. As a specialist in natural light portraits and wedding photography; with an emphasis in fine art, candid and contemporary images; I have been shooting professionally for more than eleven years. Residing in the great Pacific Northwest has provided an abundance of opportunities to photograph the natural beauty of the environment, resulting in my skillful approach at incorporating the scenery into my images.
You can expect sessions with me to be relaxed and a less staged environment, aimed at working in a discreet yet friendly manner. I believe that portrait photography should capture a natural and serendipitous moment which reveals something genuine about individuals in a way that a staged, “look here and smile” moment cannot deliver.
Most importantly, when you look back at your images, my hope is that there will be a timelessness about them, something that brings forth a rush of the feelings and happiness experienced in that special moment.
